Outstanding. The survey was completed with real care and time taken to listen to me/ why we’d instructed them for a survey, as well as explaining the findings, recommendations and damp queries in general. The report was with me in less than 24 hours. I was so impressed by everyone I had dealings with from the Alpine team, they have really shone as an organisation and I would recommend them without hesitation. Mark attended on time he was polite and explained everything as he was going through giving me a verbal report at the end of the visit followed by a written report two days later. He also answered a follow question after the visit. Good communications from the main office making arrangements and rescheduling as we had to do a couple of times. Quick responses to enquiry. Good service all round.
The surveyor AJ was very kind to speak to me after the survey. He was polite and seemed to know very well what he was doing. He gave me clear answers to my questions and was very confident of the cause of the damp. Previously I had done a damp survey with one of the PCA certified damp proof company and their report said that it is rising dampness. AJ’s analysis says that the issue is condensation and can be fixed by installing extractor fans and insulating exterior walls. I mentioned specifics because others might have very similar issue. I should write another review once issue is fixed.
Survey carried out on roof of 4 storey coastal property to identify problem with debris accumulation in gutter. They turned up promptly when required and a full condition report along with detailed photos was provided by the afternoon. Unfortunately a chimney re-build has been identified but the report has given a very clear indication of what is required and we can confidently cost and schedule the work. Very pleased with the professionalism of this company and the quality and value of the report.
